Profile

Dan began developing his unique abilities as the youngest fleet owner of medallion taxicabs and fleet maintenance centers in Chicago and New York City. A chance encounter with a private investor prompted Dan to sell his company and transition to Wall Street.

Starting as an analyst, his success in promoting the firm led him to Lehman Brothers Kuhn Loeb with the distinction of being the only hire without a book of business; Dan ranked in the industry’s top 10% within six months. In 1986, Dan joined a boutique merger and acquisition firm representing buyers of privately held businesses and divisions of publicly traded companies. His skills were further honed under the tutelage of its principal who was the most successful private intermediary in the United States. Aggregate transaction purchase value exceeded $375M.

Seeking a more operational role, Dan was recruited in 1990 as director of corporate development for a family office acquiring retail, consumer product, and industrial manufacturing businesses. Working directly with the CEO, Dan was responsible for sourcing and modeling new investments, assisting operating management, and troubleshooting. Aggregate sales exceeded $850M.

Dan began working independently in the late 1990’s and expanded the scope of his work to include management consulting, architecture, construction, MEP, and industrial services. His skillset brought him to Dallas in 2017 where he continues to help companies grow, acquire, operate, and prosper in an ever more competitive world.
